Court of Roses and Thorns
The last book had me blushing at times! I love SJM books. I don’t know why some look down on her (looking at you page 4 poster on this thread). I hate when people look down on certain books in a book forum of all places. If it’s not your taste, move on. No need to insult anyone. I’ll absolutely be looking for/starting an SJM thread when CC3 is released in January.
Wouldn't a book forum be the best place to "look down" on particular books?
Only if you want to run people off. Or, hear me out, people who enjoy certain books can find each other and those who don’t enjoy those books can find their own conversation.
There have been times when I planned on reading a book based on a DCUM recommendation, but then others chimed in and said they didn't love it and explained why. I personally appreciate different perspectives. And just because somebody hates a book you liked doesn't mean they think you suck. You just have different tastes. And with that I will say that I don't think a court of roses and thorns is a good recommendation on here because, even if you think it's well-written, there are about four mild sex scenes in 800 pages.
