Private school parents are angry because when colleges look at class rank, computed or imputed, those kids are included in the denominator for public school. Those kids aren’t even in private school, so instead some rich college-bound kid has to be in the bottom 10%. But of course avoiding those kids is one of the main reasons people go to private school in the first place. You can’t have it both ways. Somebody has to be at the bottom of the class. [/quote]
