[img]I have no idea.[/img]  I live in DC.  I can only speak to the foolish choices of the elected leaders here.   But if I had to guess I’d bet the data is incomplete because out of over 18,000 law enforcement agencies across the country, the FBI only received data from approximately 9,800 of them. As a result, the 2021 stats dont capture the true scope of crime wave that has erupted in cities.  Not to mention that many cities have decriminalized activities that are still crimes in red states.
