Tisch school for arts, the only school worth paying tuition at NYU.
Thanks for identifying a top ranked program at a top ranked school!
OP asked for a top program at low ranking program. NYU is not lowly ranked; however, there's a mismatch between Tisch and NYU. Tisch is a highly regarded program in a solid school. In NYU, you don't expect an outsized program. Hence the the listing of Tisch in NYU known for high tuition/poor FA.
I was only kidding with my comment but your response makes no sense   OP asked for "Examples of top programs in low ranked schools". NYU is NOT a low ranked school, period. It's ranked in the top 20 by more than one ranking service and Tisch is not the only highly ranked school within NYU. They have Stern as well.
Ok, NYU is a solid school with 2 outsized programs for its reputation. Out of these two, Tisch might be the only one worth paying their outsized tuition. I might be bias here cuz my kid's BFF HS classmate went there.
