U of Cincinnati has the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music
I forgot about this one - yes, this is another one I have also heard Cincy has a good aerospace engineering, I think?
Cincinnatian here to post the same. U of Cincy has the older Co-op program in the US for its engineering programs and CCM (College Conservatory of Music) requires tryouts and has produced top actors/actresses + musicians. OP, many state schools have some top programs in various fields. Not everyone was born rich...the non-technical can succeed in their field from a top program from a state school...even a lows ranked one. Am I a proud Comfy Grad (Bearcat)? Not necessarily. It was nothing to write home about (I commuted on 2 buses each way..ugh!) But, I do appreciate it did the trick for me and I went from poor to multi millionaire. The professors were excellent in my program.
