I don’t see that at all. According to US News, TJ is over 450 students per grade and over 70% Asian. BIM 9-12 is under 50 students per grade (under 35 per grade for 10-12!) and less than 1% Asian. Also, TJ is free and BIM charges tuition. It’s really hard for me to imagine any family being attracted to both schools. [/quote]

Pp here. I have no dog in this fight. I just know the elementary and middle school students we know who went to Basis were extremely bright. I have no doubt they will end up at top colleges. They would have gotten there whether they stayed at our local McLean pyramid, TJ, Potomac or any other private.

I’m actually very disappointed that the only McLean private school options we have are Basis, Potomac and Little Langley. [/quote]
