Historical data also had way more kids offered spots in June even taking the extra 20 lottery slots into account. For those on the waitlist I hope you are right but it's unclear how much you can rely on historical data with such a major shift in this year's results so far. It looks like about 12 spots were offered by August last year and another 6 by count day. That's 18 more slots if last year is any measure.

Another new wrinkle this year is the Banneker waitlist. PP whose number dropped 5 places when Walls made 3 offers, that might be that Walls made 2 offers after My School pulled the data, or it might be that 2 students who were waitlisted at both Walls and Banneker, and ranked Banneker higher, got offers at Banneker and enrolled there. (Or any of a variety of other things, but I think only the Banneker waitlist is new.)[/quote]
