Out of all the options out there, it’s highly unusual that pre-teen boys want to babysit more than anything else. What other interests do they have?

Of course there’s a bias against male babysitters for obvious reasons. You already know that. Just check out all the teachers who recently assaulted children. What percentage were female?? It’s not highly unusual for teen boys to want to babysit as it’s easy money and lots of the male babysitters I’ve seen play sports with the kids they are watching, and aren’t texting the whole time like their female counterparts.
