Say what? Jo Malone perfumes are horribly strong. I can't take them. I'd hate to find out what you consider strong if you consider those to wear off. I have a sample of the Blush Peony or whatever it's called and it was way too strong and stayed on too long.[/quote]
What’s weird is that perfumers have so many more chemicals at their disposal now and, like with certain musks to which some people are completely anosmic and other people perceive them as stronger every time they smell them (!), I think that our perceptions of fragrances are becoming different, too. Which they always were but now the chemicals seem to behave completely differently.

Like Jo Malone frags are kind of flattish and simple to me, linear and dull and somehow weak but painfully strong, like staring at snow for too long and then you get weird warped colors for a long time after. DP, btw. [/quote]
