Another vote for Jerome, AZ. DH is not at all easily spooked but Jerome had him rattled. It’s hard to explain. I felt uneasy there too.
Ok, this is weird. I'm casting a 3rd vote for Jerome, AZ. We only stopped there because it's DH's first name, and we left soon after because we were so creeped out. He wouldn't even have his picture taken next to the "Jerome" sign. He just said, "let's get the hell out of here."
I didn't feel this vibe at all when I was there. Now you all are making me want to go back!
NP here who didn't get any kind of creepy vibe in Jerome. I've been there a couple of times and on both occasions thought it was a cool place to visit. In fact, I often recommend Jerome to people I know who are visiting the Sedona area. Then again, I can't really think of any places I have visited where I have felt a creepy vibe, so perhaps I'm not very susceptible to this kind of thing. I have visited places I have found to be depressing, but I think that's different. I didn't find Jerome depressing.
