[/quote] With Fenty Beauty, Rihanna genuinely filled a gap in terms of products with her foundations that come in a wide range of colors. She seriously did her homework, so that interest in Fenty Beauty products extends way beyond fans of her music. She also promotes her products — which are excellent. My favorite lip gloss ever and the only company that has offered foundation that actually matches my skin. That said, the number of successful business ventures compared to ventures that aren’t smashing successes is relatively small. Beyoncé has had a noteworthy career and has pushed herself to grow. That her work is not to the OP’s taste doesn’t really mean much. That her efforts to expand from one wildly successful career to another much less successful one doesn’t really mean much either.
