Totally agree. Also, so annoyed with how unpleasant JayZ was about Harry Styles winning Album of the year. Poor sport. Beyoncé can’t win every single thing she’s ever nominated for you know.
What did he say?

And not showing up until she won the Grammy milestone. GMAF someone needs to tell her she’s not that special.

Popping in to say I found this really douchey like she was too good.

Contrast this with Kayne’s and Rihanna’s success with clothing. Hell, Rhinanna is now a billionaire due to the success of her product lines.

Rihanna is much more popular internationally than Beyonce. Rihanna also seems genuine whereas Beyoncé’s image is controlled.

The only song I know from Beyoncé is “put a ring on it” and only because of the skit on SNL. I do not know any Rihanna songs. Expecting another horrible half time show.
So what, don't watch? Everything is not going to be catered to your specific taste. There's a country singer singing the national anthem that I know nothing about, matter of fact country music is pretty much the only genre I can't stand. Last year it was another country music artist that sang it. I really don't care, I just don't pay attention to that part.

grow up, people!

I don’t get the Beyoncé vitriol, but there is no way you can discuss her ( or any Black celebrity ) short of extravagant praise without accusations of racism. Have you ever noticed how all post-award show fashion reviews tread so gingerly around what black celebrities wear? They’ll say something mild about pairing with a different shoe while feeling free to excoriate bad fashion on White celebrities. I don’t think being disingenuous is some big boost to racial equity.

Based on what metric is Rihanna more popular internationally? Your imagination? Every major celebrity’s image is controlled. Just say you don’t like Beyoncé no need to spew baseless info.

Someone upthread thinks Rihanna sat down and did the research around Fenty Beauty? LOL. You guys are laughable.

With Fenty Beauty, Rihanna genuinely filled a gap in terms of products with her foundations that come in a wide range of colors. She seriously did her homework, so that interest in Fenty Beauty products extends way beyond fans of her music. She also promotes her products — which are excellent. My favorite lip gloss ever and the only company that has offered foundation that actually matches my skin.

That said, the number of successful business ventures compared to ventures that aren’t smashing successes is relatively small. Beyoncé has had a noteworthy career and has pushed herself to grow. That her work is not to the OP’s taste doesn’t really mean much. That her efforts to expand from one wildly successful career to another much less successful one doesn’t really mean much either.

Rihanna’s skin care line is affordable and sold in department and makeup stores. Rihanna promotes the brand constantly. That’s why.

Say what you want about Madonna, but you cannot honestly deny the woman is fantastically talented - as a performer, marketer and presenter of music. I have no idea if she wrote her own music but over the years she delivered dozens of songs that have great melodies and arrangements - in a way that, say, J Lo, with all respect to her as a presenter and marketer, has not.
Madonna wrote or co-wrote most of her songs. Same with Beyonce. No idea about J Lo.

According to Billboard, the only song she wrote solo was Lucky Star.
Her Wiki page says differently.

Her husband hoarding the label budget and connections to keep him, his wife, and their kid famous is a large role.

Anonymous wrote:Beyoncé is not that stylish and has less an innovative eye for design than Kanye has. So it doesn’t surprise me that her line would do worse than his despite him being such a turd.

Also they dropped him once all the really bad stuff about him came out. So it's not like his line is outperforming hers right now

I'm sure she's an extremely intelligent and hard-working businesswoman, but don't give me that crap about women's empowerment while you gyrate on stage with barely any clothes on. You know what you're selling here, and that is not it. And it's not music either.

Beyonce's career has spanned more than 25 years and she's risen to the top in her profession. She consistently worked while becoming a wife and mother. She's been with her husband for over 20 years and married to him for 15 years. Do you listen to any of her music? Her songs include messages of, being more than someones wife, relationships are work, motherhood isn't easy, women are fierce, never apologize for being strong or independent. I'd never look down on another women because she dresses 'too skimpy'. Do better.

She's been washed up for a while. If she wasn't married to Jay-Z and forced down our throats and given an unlimited budget, she would have faded from public view nine years ago. Her last successful album was ten years ago, 2013's Beyoncé.

Lemonade was amazing.

I think the problem with her clothing line is that it was overpriced loungewear and people aren't really into fancy loungewear now that we're not in lockdown anymore.

However, this thread is interesting because I had no idea people hated Beyonce so much and are so unhinged about it. You think her pregnancies were fake? Lol.
