As a man, I have to agree with this. Don’t make women feel uncomfortable at the gym by looking at them. You’re in control of where and for how long you look. Focus on your workout. What she is wearing is not your business even if it is ridiculous. [/quote]

Dude here, and I agree with this.

On a related note, a young and very fit/strong woman at my gym was doing power cleans (an exercise I was thinking about adding to my workout). I was totally watching her to see exactly what she was doing, then felt like a creep when she noticed me watching b/c I'm sure she thought I was ogling her. Oh well...[/quote]

I also look at people who are very strong or really look like they know what they are doing, so I don’t necessarily assume that if someone is looking at me it is because they are thinking dirty thoughts.. Maybe they are surprised to see a female benching  big plates, maybe they are wondering what caused my scars or maybe they are simply wondering when I will be finally done with the equipment they want to use. Quite  honestly, unless someone is following me around the gym and drooling as they stare at me, I really don’t care if they look at me for whatever reason. I really would not want men to feel like they can only look at their feet when there are females around them in the gym. [/quote]
