This. Look away, distract yourself, get your own self under control. This is 1000% a you issue, OP.
I work out out, and loose clothing doesn't work well for me when working out. My gym attire isn't for anyone but myself, and how I feel about myself.
Your thoughts about what other people wear has only to do with your lewd immaturity.

As a man, I have to agree with this. Don’t make women feel uncomfortable at the gym by looking at them. You’re in control of where and for how long you look. Focus on your workout. What she is wearing is not your business even if it is ridiculous.

Woman here and agree w/these PPs 100%. This should not be such a difficult thing for any adult, male or female.

Dude here, and I agree with this.
On a related note, a young and very fit/strong woman at my gym was doing power cleans (an exercise I was thinking about adding to my workout). I was totally watching her to see exactly what she was doing, then felt like a creep when she noticed me watching b/c I'm sure she thought I was ogling her. Oh well...

+1 I feel so sad for those women who show up at the gym in full makeup and botox butts. I always assume they are hookers looking for clients.
Aw, is that you, brunch granny?

I would agree. Maybe it would cut down on the women (young and fit good for them) working out in the wedgie style shorts and yoga pants, who are clearly there to socialize and look for dates. They can play the game and hustle for numbers elsewhere. Get out of the way for the women who are there to workout.
Where do you workout that you see these? I have never seen them IRL at any gym I've gone to in DC area.
My Golds in Arlington is full of them. Even these exact ones. The population skews toward young women though. Not sure it would be the same in a gym full of suburban moms.
I'm gonna call BS on this. There are not "tons" of any age women wearing these in Arlington. Period. Maybe one or two but definitely not tons.
Well, come to my gym in rush hour. It is extremely common. And no it is not one or two.
There are only 4 Gold's in Arlington now and I go to all of them depending where I am on a certain day and I go at different times. I go everyday. I *maybe* have seen these on a handful of women typically in the weight section of the gym - not cardio machines or classes. Definitely not a ton. Leggings, yes. The pants in the photo, occasionally.
In that case you would know which one of them has been recently overrun with students. And it seems to be mostly them wearing those pants. I mostly only go to the weight section so that is my reference point. I dont think I have ever seen a 30+ woman wearing them (actually yes, their former fitness manager was an IFBB pro with sick glutes and wore them all the time), but then sadly there aren't many 30+ women in the weight room to start with.

I'm actually a mid-30s mom of 2 and I wear these types of leggings to the gym. But I also lift heavy and have the body to pull these off so.
