Oh come on!  He’s not just carrying out some administrative duty and appointing qualified people to serve.  Not to mention, four of the six people DeSantis appointed to serve on a board for a public state university don’t even live in that state.  He’s got out-of-state “1776 Commission” extremists going back-and-forth to Florida for this.[/quote]

+1. This is 100% a political stunt. Which is the reason it's been picked up in the media. Which is the reason we're discussing it here. If he had made a mundane series of appointments it would not be news.[/quote]
