So Va Tech is harder to get into than William & Mary? I just read the William & Mary ED thread and almost all the accepted stats are around 4.1 or 4.2 weighted with lower SAT. Some 4.0 weighted.[/quote]

OK, it is relative, but for the 75th percentile of 2022-23 entering class, W&M is 1520 SAT, 34 ACT, and 4.51 GPA.  VT is 1400, 32, and 4.28.  UVA, as a comparison, is 1520, 34, and 4.53.[/quote]

Virginia Tech admits by major, so stats and admission rates are all over the place. When you average the stats they are lower, but for some majors VT ihad a 20% acceptance rate and very high stats, while others are 80% with much lower stats. I think if VT didn’t admit by major their stats would be much higher and admit rate lower. There are very qualified candidates turned away each year due to the major they applied to. All 3 are amazing schools, that are a difficult admit. [/quote]
