Pre-covid, if anyone had said they weren't coming because of a cold, it would have been viewed as an excuse not to come. :lol: That said, as someone with kids in school/childcare, I've become pretty conservative myself in these types of situations because our daycare is excluding for a lot more than it used to, and I assume others are as well. So if we were to attend a gathering with my sister and her young kids, we'd probably stay home for a cold to avoid getting them sick. But I wouldn't expect anyone without daycare-aged children to think this way. Covid has made everything weird.[/quote]
