She tried IVF so she could become pregnant. In a word, she was infertile and could not get pregnant even with IVF. No man stole her fertility. The fertility was not there to begin with.

What she should have done is retrieved her egg (if she had eggs), taken the sperm of her husband (or from the sperm bank) and got a surrogate to have a baby.   This is becoming quite common among celebrities - Kim Kardashian, Priyanka Chopra etc.

Jennifer Aniston wanted a baby with her own genes. It is quite possible that she did not have any viable eggs to retrieve and create a baby out of.  She could have had a baby through some other means though even if it was not her genes and maybe she did not want that.

Exactly. Quality and quantity of eggs decline with age, but some women struggle with both or one from the get-go. Ryan Serhant (on Bravo NY Real Estate Show) and his wife went through this when his wife was in her 20s. They were only able to get one good quality egg after trying many rounds of IVF. The show documented this and it opened up my eyes to the fact that this is something women in their 20s can struggle with - it's not just about age. [/quote]
