DP. South Arlington low level crime never bothered people but they panicked when  crime  came to North Arlington in the form of car jackings, assaults, catalytic converters thefts, houses burgled for car keys that were then stolen, and such a large number of thefts from unlocked cars and autos that flashing Road signs tell people to lock their cars.

Criminals were emboldened by the Commonwealth's Attorney who believes more in equity than prosecuting crimes. Long time prosecutors left or were fired, and she has an inexperienced staff. The police are also short staffed and respond to only major crimes.   As long as you are careful and can. Afford a property with a garage you are okay.

It is the price we pay to ensure that the rights of criminals (most of whom are from DC) are valued more than residents. [/quote]
