They only got to about 40 on the preschool list, and that was really only about 13 when you account for the spots that were reserved for siblings for other grades that weren't actually taken. It was a little confusing, and I don't remember the details, but essentially only 13 PS applicants that were eventually admitted declined. Hundreds of applicants never got off the list; I don't remember the exact number, but I know a friend had a number in the 200s. They got much deeper into the PK list, which was also a bit shorter, but didn't get all the way through it. Basically, it was very tough to get into PS and almost everyone got into PK.[/quote]
