You purposely make that hard when you sit on the equipment, scrolling on your phone.[/quote] It is not practical to share a squat rack usually. It only really makes sense if the person who wants to work in is about the same height and lifts about the same weight as the one squatting. Almost any other equipment, particularly machines where weight gets adjusted just by moving the pin, is much easier to share and at least in my gym people generally agree to it if you ask. Even if you initially have to interrupt their scrolling session to ask. [/quote]
