You are OK with people who haven't eaten for two days (or longer) being received and processed by Texas, but not by DC? 3,400 is a drop in the pan compared to what Texas handles on a daily basis. Why don't you get on out there and set up sandwiches and soup reception, like the Poles did for the Ukrainians?[/quote]

My guess is many of them took the free transportation and will continue to where they planned to go or had always planned to stay in DC.   How many people just hop in a very long bus ride to another random [place just because the bus is free.[/quote]
