Columbia Heights/14th & U were already redeveloped when Brianne was elected, while a good bit of H Street and Hill East development has happened during last decade. So part of the fury of her constituents is that they are seeing hard evidence of a declining quality of life in Ward 1 around those areas, with absolute no concern being expressed by our councilmember. There were not shootouts on 14th & U while people were dining outside 10 years ago. [/quote]
