That video is great! Kudos to whoever made it.

Basically the center-right is lucky that Nadeau's campaign/staff sucks. If she was even a bit competent, we'd have a W6/Allen situation. Nobody wants to go up against him, but it seems like he knows a bit about what he is doing (regardless if you agree with it or not). I'm not calling him competent, but he isn't completely incompetent in constituent services.

It starts from the top. She picked her staff. So it’s poor leadership.

What fascinates me is that she seems completely immune from self-reflection. Her constituents have been telling her and anyone who will listen for years that she needs to be more present. And what’s does she do with that information? She gets defensive and argues that it’s not true.

I just don’t think she understands what it means to be a local politician in a big city. 80% of the job is just showing up and listening to people. She adamantly refuses to do either.

Say what you want about Bowser, but she understands that much. She’s at the crime scenes. Where’s Nadeau? Contrast with Graham who was just ubiquitous across the Ward. He may have been corrupt, but he was a good politician.

Nadeau seems better suited to go and work at policy/advocacy organization instead of being a politician and maybe she will give her the chance to go and do that.

That is so true about Graham. He was everywhere and involved with everything. He also had great constituent services that even Nadeau took advantage of

Wait, what?! Nadeau solicited and received special consideration from city officials for an interest-free home loan to buy her Northwest Washington condominium. Wow. That is a perfect solution for her constituents too. Has she implemented these benefits for everyone else in Ward 1? No? Out.

My read is: me, me, me. Possible corruption. Certain self-interest.

She’s definitely a narcissist. That much seems undisputed.

Who’s going to employ her? Whenever you have someone who can’t possibly make what they get from the taxpayer anywhere else, I have a big “?”

Nadeau said she was "offended" that someone in the audience said that the quality of life in Ward 1 was declining.

If crime keeps rising then you will see the same heat on Charles Allen next time around. Columbia Heights/14th & U were already redeveloped when Brianne was elected, while a good bit of H Street and Hill East development has happened during last decade. So part of the fury of her constituents is that they are seeing hard evidence of a declining quality of life in Ward 1 around those areas, with absolute no concern being expressed by our councilmember. There were not shootouts on 14th & U while people were dining outside 10 years ago.

Wait, Nadeau’s comms person went private with her Tweets? Was that after she said the open Ward 1 candidate forum was filled with hostile constituents and that she was injured by a majority White space?

You don’t have real hostilities facing Ward 1 people to work on? How about guns?

I mean whatever you think about Nadeau but the waste of your taxpayer $ on a sideshow is something else

This is just so stupid - we pay for them to waste their time like this in these Ward seats?! For real?! @Nadeau you have actual real work to do if you can be bothered. Look at the hubris below

Sure, Brianna

I will personally run a write in campaign in November is she by some miracle does. Useless. Net negative.

Oh yes
