Recently my DD and I painted each others nails for fun, and she picked a bright red for her nails. When my mom saw it, she pulled me aside and said that while it's one thing for little girls to wear nail polish, it is "inappropriate" for her to wear red because it's "too sexy." Like with purple nail polish my DD is safe, but in red nail polish she will get sex trafficked.

The girl who's told no bikini until 16 is absolutely going to have one and change as soon as she's out of her overbearing parents sight. Much like the girls who aren't supposed to wear makeup and put it on as soon as they are at school.[/quote]
