I think most people have figured out that the monopoly was one of the major contributing issues and that the federal government is the second. 
I don't even think the FDA is necessarily dragging it's feet as much as it is mired in their own process and policies in trying to respond to a crisis and generally just manager anything.

Agree with you. Based on this article it seems like it’s a distribution problem as well, not only a monopoly problem. I think that’s a good thing. Government can resolve distribution problem relatively quickly. Needs the will to do so though. Monopoly problem can temporarily be alleviated by importing European and Canadian baby formula.[/quote]
