Thank you.  It’s been pretty rough.  He’s an otherwise healthy person with no underlying conditions.  Hopefully he will make a full recovery and bounce back soon, but it’s been a lot to deal with for our family.  It’s upsetting when people minimize COVID knowing it still affects others’ health.[/quote]

Not trying to minimize your family’s suffering, but the flu and strep also cause death and some serious side effects. Diseases are going to be out there. We can’t go around hiding from viruses the rest of eternity. I do hope he recovers soon and this must be really scary for you. [/quote]

I guarantee you that if 20% of a class or school had the flu, strep or stomach virus at the same time, some action would be taken. And none of those illnesses are as contagious as COVID.[/quote]
