South Arlingtonian here looking to move within South Arlington. They are priced out of both if they’re looking at SFHs. It may be slightly more affordable than North Arlington, but it’s not affordable, not unless you already have your foot in the door with equity or a giant assist from a trust or parents or something else. The “starter” homes are going for $900K and anything more updated or larger or with more land, etc., just goes up from there. Lots of “starter” home tear downs, too, being replaced by $1.5 new builds, leaving the “starter” home inventory even smaller and the entry market that much more competitive.[/quote]
