I happened to have had a DC who did quite well at the school. DC also fit the mold and we all saw first hand what happened to those who didn’t. I also know that the type of parents who want their kids to attend this school are very vocal and critical of having kids in the classroom who distract from the academic focus.

It’s not a criticism of the school to say that it caters to a specific type of child with the goal of intense focus on academic rigor.  However, it could be very helpful for a family to understand and avoid considerable stress if the environment is not right for their kid. There were plenty of other threads (although the school had some removed) that shared experiences at the school and it is 100% impossible that they were written by one person, in fact many experiences were similar.[/quote]
