How did Abe telling the investigator that his friend lit the fire help further the story? I can understand Abe getting mad...but how did having the agent there help anything? Because the lawyer rushed the agent off and we don't see him again in the apartment. This is one thing that is so frustrating about this show.
[b]NOT SURE WHAT YOU MEAN HERE. ABE WAS SAYING INCRIMINATING THINGS AND THE LAWYER RUSHED HIM OUT SO HE WOULDN'T HEAR MORE AND SMOOTH IT OVER LIKE IT WAS JUST JOKING AROUND OR WHATEVER. IT FURTHERED THE STORY BECAUSE HE WAS SO MAD HE WAS WILLING TO RAT HIM OUT TO THE FBI.

Same thing with Joel's mom making sure he would be at his club on Friday so obviously she could set him up...and nothing comes of that? We already knew she was trying to set him up. Couldn't Joel have a conversation with his girlfriend about that without needing the unnecessary call from Joel's mom about another set up - which precipitated Joel's conversation with Mei.

This is how I feel about the bedroom - we don't see it again all mashed up. So what was the purpose? I get the whole "new" arrangement idea but it was impractical and completely contrary to Midge's character. [/quote]
