I don't know what's reasonable to pay in travel sports especially basketball teams with mostly volunteer coaches and lower gym cost overhead. Tournaments can be expensive but younger teams don't go every weekend.[/quote] Even if that’s the case, you make up the cost when team is selected. You do not charge $50 for tryouts. That’s ludicrous and my high schooler plays an elite team (Takeover, New World, Durant level). [/quote]
