Maybe time for a new head coach?
What was Miami’s record for let’s say the dozen years before that?
is that the standard for keeping a head coach, he wasn't as big a loser as his predecessor?
Do you know anything about the NFL or are you just a race-baiting troll?
What's your point? That he wasn't as bad as some of his predecessors?
Coaches at flailing franchises keep their jobs when they aren’t as bad as their predecessors ALL THE TIME.
what if the owner wants to stop "flailing"? You saying they need to be satisfied with 24-25 so they won't get accused of racism?
Bribing a coach to not lose is a bad way to go about winning. So is insisting on sticking with a quarter back who is clearly not NFL caliber
you mean bribing a coach to lose ... I agree that's not a good way to go about winning. But Flores didn't go along with that, did he? He refused to take the bribe - right?
Yeah I wonder how many other coaches Ross tried to bribe (or did bribe)? The Dolphins have cycled through a lot of coaches in recent years. They had improved under Flores the last two seasons so I doubt he was fired based on wins/losses.
Not going along with your boss's despicable conduct is admirable - but you can also get fired for it. And it's impossible to say Ross wouldn't have treated a white coach the same way.
