Oh, come on, it takes some real effort to contort that into a racial issue. The point simply is that any employee - regardless of color - who publicly accuses his former employer of unethical behavior is going to have a difficult time getting that same job again, particularly when there are only 31 other similar jobs out there, only a few are open at any given moment, and many of the other owners likely engage in similar (or even completely unrelated) ethically questionable behavior.

These guys who own pro sports franchises usually didn't get rich be being choir boys. They're thinking "hey, if I hire this guy what's he going to say about me?"

Yeah I wonder how many other coaches Ross tried to bribe (or did bribe)? The Dolphins have cycled through a lot of coaches in recent years. They had improved under Flores the last two seasons so I doubt he was fired based on wins/losses.

Not going along with your boss's despicable conduct is admirable - but you can also get fired for it. And it's impossible to say Ross wouldn't have treated a white coach the same way.
