I'm not defending SYC, I'm explaining what happens to nearly ALL new clubs who are suddenly thrown into these leagues.

VDA SUCKED for a few years until their own player pool started to establish themselves.

Arlington is going through the same thing as well as Loudoun on the girls side.

I'm not saying SYC will be a top MLSNext club, but I am saying that their younger "homegrown" teams should perform better than their suddenly promoted older teams.

Your narrative of why the older teams are performing poorly is lacking proper context.

Again, as I said a page or two ago you will not listen because you have already made up your mind on this matter. I'm just telling you that you shouldn't necessarily attribute performance characteristics of older age groups to their younger counterparts in this context. Judge your kids team and age group on their own merits. If you're unhappy with your team so be it, but you are also free to leave and keep it all to yourself but you're the one who came here hoping for cheerleaders. [/quote]
