[/b] [/quote] Yep, I call them "crimes of opportunity". I live in San Francisco and almost daily when I'm walking around downtown, tell someone "hey, your backpack is wide open." I don't hang my bag on the back of a chair unless there is no way anyone can walk behind me. I don't own a car anymore, but when I did (in another state) I always put my purse or bag on the floor of the passenger seat, not on the seat itself, and always took everything out of the car when I got out.
