Because it's a freeloading gig, only requires h.s. diploma, and you can easily milk overtime and make over $100,000 if not $150,000 a year and then retire with a full pension & platinum health care for life in your 50s? People grossly exaggerate the danger of being a cop. And no cop is in some violent ghetto for decades, at most you do that crap when you're a rookie for a year or two, then you job hop to a freeloading desk job or out to the cozy suburbs.[/quote]
