Serious question for the bag droppers—how would you feel about someone leaving a balled-up dirty diaper along a trail/road/behind a sign, with the intent of coming back for it?
+1. What is wrong with these people? How do you not understand that leaving bags of poop lying around is a gross thing to do? Don’t want to carry dog poop bags for 20 minutes? Don’t have a dog.
If it is hidden, why does it matter to you? You do realize that if you walking on a trail you are walking on animal excrement, not simply walking by it. I'm sure you lunatics would also complain if you walk by dog owners in a narrow trail and get a whiff of the dog poop being carried in the bag.
If the bag is truly well-hidden, then it’s all the more likely the walker will forget to go back and pick it up. I’m sure all the people who are afraid they won’t notice they’ve dropped a bag of poop while walking are definitely remembering 100% of the time to go back and retrieve their little sacks of sh*t. And for those that don’t bother to hide it but think it’s nbd, do you assume people who throw their empty soda bottles or candy wrappers along the trail are also coming back for it? Should we give them the same benefit of the doubt? Or do you really think you’re superior to a common litterer? And nobody’s answered my question about leaving balled up, soiled diapers on the ground—because I’m coming back for it, I swear! Sorry to all the nice, responsible dog people. The bad ones are doing you all a disservice.
