I was referring to having tryouts mid August. Which was the norm until a couple years ago.

First off I didn't say July, I said after tryouts.  So....MC Elite and Stars already had tryouts.  My DD had a tournament this weekend and now has 3 tournaments left BEFORE her team has tryouts.  So that equals 4.  And I said 3 or 4...  But nice try being snarky.  [/quote]

Reality is that the top teams will dictate the tryout schedule and other teams will move from there.   Some teams try to lock up girls early, but this isn't a sustainable strategy.[/quote]
