He's not going anywhere in the Republican party after this. And he's been more cautious about reopening than some Democratic governors. He's not getting "conservative cred" on COVID. If he wants to be a talking head on cable news, he's already gotten that locked up by being critical of Trump. Basically, Hogan is unusually free to act in the best interest of the state without undue political influence.[/quote]
