It strikes me that the Mayor is playing a long game related to acknowledgement/precedent? Like she is building on her momentum from 1/6 and thinks the Covid Vaccine distribution is a new bargaining chip to continue to build a case for statehood with the Feds/Nation? Except we are going into month 4, and putting DC residents last (plus tech and data collection SNAFUS ) makes DC look ridiculous.
