Leading cause of death in fetuses is car accidents. Period. So women should not be in cars while pregnant right? I mean, why risk it?

Most pregnant women “need” to drive to work, medical appointments, etc.

The dose makes the poison, as the saying goes. No one is suggesting you chug vodka. Similarly, I assume you agree that literally a drop of beer would have no effect on the fetus. Some people want to just pay it absolutely safe and not drink at all. Others see that the evidence shows no risk from very light drinking so do it. Both approaches are reasonable. [/quote]
