All the more reason to have in person voting only, with paper ballots, ID, and black ink on your thumb to prevent multiple votes.  Frame it as improving voting integrity. After all if the GOP is going to cheat, why not prevent it?

Voting is sacred, which is why we make sure that all eligible voters have the opportunity to vote,  even those with disabilities who cannot vote in-person.  But at least we know who you are, someone who hates people with disabilities.[/quote]

There’s a reason why Newsom wants every signature on the petition to recall him verified. I agree with him - we would not want a recall using signatures that can’t be tied to unique individuals who are eligible to sign it. It used to be I put my paper in a machine here in VA and I could see right on the screen what my choices were and had a chance to correct any discrepancies. I no longer can see those choices. That’s not a reassuring change.[/quote]
