I'm not in that thread but I was just responding to a person who seemed to be making excuses to drinking while in charge of little ones.

NP here. . .OMG you are so uptight!  I drink in front of my kids all the time.  We have wine with dinner almost nightly.  It doesn't mean I get drunk and it certainly does not mean I am incapable of caring for my DCs.  I manage to do the dishes (without breaking anything), give DC a shower, tuck her in, read a story and sing a song in a normal, non-drunk manner after I have my glass or two of wine.  Maybe you're a lightweight and get drunk easily hence the [b]It's never OK, being it one bottle or one sip.[/b]  :evil:
