I am a different DCPS teacher and agree with PP.  the vitriol is unnecessary and doesn’t help people support the union.  I can be a union member without blindly agreeing with everything the union does.  And I didn’t join DCPS for the union, I joined because I wanted to work in an urban public school system.  [/quote]

Be transparent, you joined for the bonus. You can't get it without being a member.

Not OP but hahahahaha bonus. I’ve never heard a teacher say “I’m here for the bonus”.

I don’t have a problem with Liz Davis but I do have a problem with this tiny, loud sub group within the union screaming nonsense. It’s INSANE.
Parents- it takes two. Do not paint Bowser and Ferebee as the saviors doing right by kids and families. You are way too smart to fall for this PR traps. the union and the mayor have no plans. They both failed tremendously.[/quote]
