My neighbors put up a basketball hoop, totally on their property. They are nice people and I like them. Their teen boy has been out there for HOURS most days and the hoop is in sight and hearing distance of our deck and dining room. It's loud. It's like constantly being in that scene in A Wrinkle in Time where the kids are all bouncing a ball in front of their house. In my situation, it's their house and I totally recognize that.
