[/quote] The vast majority of these kids have been to preschools, they're coming into kindergarten already knowing all of their letters, numbers, etc. Many are fully reading. Kindergarten is more for social experience. There's no testing or anything at the kindergarten level. Zero reason to redshirt unless there are some serious learning disabilities going on, and even then, just get an IEP.[/quote]
