Maine has a mess on its hands. The hotel managers are not confident in what the rules are? Another thread said that summer camps can be considered quarantine sites! I guess because it's one location that the kids don't necessarily leave? The Governor really needs to clarify things this week. If the State is going to send their economy to the toilet, at least do it in a way that actually protects public health.
I’m reading that camp thread, too. I highly doubt that out-of-state campers will be able to quarantine at camp. I think the hotel manager I spoke with was sincere in telling me the 2 week hotel reservation I made to quarantine at his Marriott hotel (Residence Inn) would work out. I think that the situation is changing so swiftly that they can only do the best they can. If anything, I bet the 2 week quarantine for out of staters will be lifted or reduced at some point.
I agree. I predict that as long as numbers keep going down in the states that send a lot of visitors to ME, they will make a serious change to the order by June 30 at the latest.
