I consider myself a rule follower. But here’s the thing. We live in upstate NY where there were very few Covid cases to begin with. On our drive to Maine, we’ll bring food with us. If we need to use the bathroom, we’ll pull off to a deserted area in the woods. We’ll overnight at my parents’ empty vacation house on the way.

We’ve been socially isolating this whole time. Never got Covid, don’t have it now. We rented a secluded house on a lake. We’ll bring our own groceries. So I don’t see why we shouldn’t be able to drive to Acadia to go hiking occasionally. We’ll wear masks and try to avoid others as much as possible.[/quote]
