The kids have built-in playmates (which we didn't growing up), and they bring joy that makes all the chaotic moments and busy days worthwhile. As they get a little older, I love seeing their personalities and spending time with them. I know it's not for everyone, but I'm happy with the decision. We still get to do things like go out for meals, eat dinner together, and go on vacation.
