The only help I gave DD on the test was to remind her not to leak anywhere in the essay her Asian heritage. And she rolled her eyes like I was so ignorant thinking she didn't know that already. Pretty funny, huh? [/quote]

Oh, it is probably very true.  We’re not Asian, but DD has a lot of Asian friends from when she was at the CES.  These kids are not ignorant and they know quite well how the educational system in the US discriminated against Asians and how Asian students have to work harder to gain acceptance into various programs and colleges.
